Mafia The Old Country - Other Locations

This post showcases a selection of supporting locations from Mafia: The Old Country, each playing a key role in shaping the player’s experience beyond the main story beats.

Among them are the Vineyard outbuildings, where the Don first encounters Enzo. These spaces became especially important as they effectively introduce the player to combat mechanics and the foundations of the open world, balancing narrative context with gameplay onboarding.

We also worked on the Ludovici's Villa, defined by its opulent interiors and strong sense of wealth and power, offering a clear contrast to the more grounded and rugged environments found elsewhere in the game.

Additional locations, such as the Custom Warehouse and other secondary spaces, helped reinforce the variety and scale of the world, ensuring that even smaller areas contributed meaningfully to the overall experience.

Working on these environments required a flexible approach, adapting to different narrative needs and gameplay functions while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the project.
