ZA4 - Hell Machine - The Basilica

I am really happy to share this main piece for the Hell Machine level, the last one of ZA4, where the final fight happens. It was a really fun to work on the Basilica, from the first steps planning the layout to the sculpting, baking and texturing process. Making the facade modular and easy to modify was one of the main challenges, as the size of the building changed a few times during the development.

To make the Basilica modular, I divided the facade in basic units. The windows had 2x2 units, the doors had 2x3 units and things like the clocks, 2x1 units. Each unit was equivalent to 5 meters.
